Leslie is a professional and passionate actress and singer, and has extensive training in opera/classical music as well as music theatre.

Born in New Orleans and raised in Houston, she began singing at an early age in her church's children's choir and the honor choir at her elementary school. She began taking a serious interest in her musical studies in middle school, and started attending private voice lessons and competing in vocal competitions at the Houston Music Institute. She developed a love for musical theatre during her time there, and began performing in musicals along with continuing her classical training throughout her school career. Leslie attended Northwestern University in Chicago, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance and a certificate in Music Theatre.

Leslie is currently pursuing her passion in music theatre after moving to New York, and is having the time of her life traveling the world and the country while doing what she loves. Appearing on stage in world class venues both abroad and in the U.S., she joined her first tour as Rosalia, "Somewhere" soloist and Maria understudy in the 2013/14 West Side Story International Tour, where she performed in venues around Europe, including the Sadler's Wells Theatre in London's West End, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, the Deutsches Theater in Munich, and the gorgeous Israeli Opera House in Tel Aviv, Israel. Since then, she's had the honor of touring the country with Ragtime (Sarah), Roger's + Hammerstein's Cinderella (Marie), Spamalot (Lady of the Lake), and made her Broadway debut as an offstage cover in the revival of Caroline, or Change, where she understudied the roles of Radio 1, Radio 2, The Moon, and Emmie Thibodeaux, getting to go on several times. She was recently on stage at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, WA playing Johanna in their spring production of Sweeney Todd, and will have the opportunity to reprise the role in the upcoming production of Sweeney in her hometown of Houston this fall!

A lover of traveling, arts & crafts, and spending time with her family and friends, Leslie feels blessed to be able to turn her artistic talent into a career, and have the ability to meet and touch the lives of so many people!
